Sail vaila Mae

Vaila Mae is a replica of the nineteenth century Shetland sixareen Industry LK718, which can be seen on display in the Shetland Museum & Archives. These boats were used for haaf (deep sea) longline fishing during the summer months. 

At the moment we have boat certification and insurance difficulties, and this means that we are currently unable to take members of the public sailing. We apologise for any disappointment and inconvenience this may cause.
